Thirty-five years at Har Ki Pauri, and an unusual second life presenting to psychiatrists on what Vedic method can and cannot contribute to medical care.
He began at Vivekananda Kendra under Dr H. R. Nagendra, where the habit that shapes everything since was formed: recording what actually happened, not only what was predicted.
Since then he has worked across India, Russia and the United Kingdom, and has taught university programmes on Yog and Vastu. He holds formal qualifications in gemology, palmistry, Vastu and Feng Shui, and reads across the Parashari, Nadi, KP, Lal Kitab, Tantric and horary systems rather than committing to one.
More than two thousand charts have passed through his hands. He consults in English and Hindi, and hosts international guests in German and Russian through interpretation.
What is unusual is the second half of the work. He is invited to speak at accredited medical conferences, alongside clinicians, on the scope and the limits of astrology in mental health care. He is careful about that word, limits. It is the reason he is asked back.
