Who we are

What we collect, and why

When you use a free tool

Your date, time and place of birth are used to calculate a chart and are held in your own browser so you do not have to type them again. They are not sent to us unless you ask us to send you the chart.

When you write to us

Your name, email, phone number, birth details if you give them, and what you wrote. We need these to reply. Your message is read by an automated system that suggests which service fits, and then by Acharya Rajeev or a member of staff. The automated step chooses a service and nothing else; it does not interpret your chart and it does not make decisions about you.

When you upload a photograph of your palm

A photograph of your hand is personal data. It is sent to Acharya Rajeev so he has it in front of him when you consult, and it is deleted automatically after 30 days. We do not analyse it with software and we do not keep it beyond that.

When you book or buy

Your name, contact details, delivery address, and what you ordered. Payment is handled by Razorpay; we never see or store your card details.

When you ask for your chart by email

Your email and birth details, so we can send the chart and, once a year on your birthday, the sky as it was when you were born. Every message carries a link to stop them.

Who reads your message

Acharya Rajeev reads every enquiry himself. No member of staff has access to the enquiry inbox, and nobody else holds a login to it.

How long we keep things

• Palm photographs: 30 days, then deleted automatically.
• Enquiries: kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period after.
• Birth details: kept after a consultation so that a future reading does not have to start again. Ask us and we will delete them.
• Orders and invoices: as long as Indian tax law requires.
• Email list: until you unsubscribe.

Who else sees your information

Razorpay, for payment. Shiprocket, for delivery, which needs your name, address and phone number. Our email provider, to send messages. Nobody else, and we do not sell anything to anyone.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to acharye@vedicenergy.com and we will act within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18. Where a chart is cast for a child, we expect a parent to be the one asking.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your language, your currency and your birth details are kept in your own browser so the site behaves sensibly on your next visit. Clearing your browser data removes them.
